New & Updated Functionality
‘Email to Traveler’ Travel Registry Workflow Option
Travel Registry Admins can now configure workflows to send email messages to travelers as a workflow step. When adding the “Then Notify” step to a Workflow, you now have the option to select the Traveler to receive custom email notifications. The email message with your custom text will go to everyone who matches the workflow condition.
Custom Email Header & Footer Content in AlertTraveler® and Travel Registry
Admins can now customize the header and the footer of emails sent to users from AlertTraveler® and Travel Registry. Admins can pre-configure custom text that will appear above and below standard message content. To configure for AlertTraveler® go to AlertTraveler® → Settings → Admin → Email Customization and use the WYSIWYG editor to create your header and footer text. For Travel Registry go to Travel Admin → Settings → Site Settings → Email Customization.
‘Only’ and ‘Includes’ Conditions for Travel Registry Location Workflows
Do you need to build a workflow that deploys a specific waiver if one of the stops on a multi-leg trip is a level 4 risk country? You can use the ‘contains’ location operator when configuring your workflow condition.
Conversely, if you have different requirements for travelers who are only going to Canada compared to those going to Canada as a stop in a multi-leg trip, you can kick off a workflow by using the ‘is only’ operator (Location ‘is only’ Canada).
Travel Registry Workflow Conditions Can Look for Keywords in a Text Parameter
If you need to base a workflow on a parameter that is stored as freeform text (as compared to a yes/no, or pick list type), you can now evaluate if a field ‘contains’ a specific word. For instance if you need to notify an administrator if the value in a student’s ‘major’ parameter contains ‘engineering,’ this feature will give you the capability to do so.
Analytics Scheduled Report Emails can Include In-line Report Data
As our Analytics functionality continues to evolve, we now offer the ability to share Report data in the body of an Analytics-generated email. And if you include a Trip ID or Applicant ID , the ID is clickable to take a logged-in user with the right permissions to the linked item.
New Filter and Visual Queues for Trip Type in Trip Search
The AlertTraveler® Trips Search display now provides a new filtering option for Trip Type. You can hone in on Solo, Group, Group Leader, and Group Participant trip types. In addition, the Trip Search view now includes a Type column with easy to view icons for these different trip types.
