Each year, Terra Dotta Study Abroad produces a series of quarterly releases that are deployed to production sites for hosted clients. These releases include updates for unexpected behavior with functionality that has been resolved. It may be the case that an update is pushed to production sites between quarterly releases to ensure the most timely resolution possible.
Throughout this year's full 22.X release cycle, this Knowledgebase (KB) article will be updated to note behaviors that have been resolved in client production sites. This list is organized by each quarterly release for 22.X, then alphabetically by feature below.
Resolved Issues for 22.3
- User Management: If an administrative user in the Facilitator’s permission group has a disabled classic staff page, then the user does not appear in searches or as a listed member of a permission group as expected.
- App Cycle Management: The creation of new app cycles in App Cycle Management results in process map records not being created.
- User Management: The "Restrictions" tab defaults to displaying "Access to All Applications" by default which requires the admin to select "Access to a Subset" from the drop-down menu in order to view the assigned restrictions.
- Questionnaire Builder: Admins and applicants are unable to view the full response options selected for use with a multiple selection type question item.
- User Management: The keyword search field in the "Users" section does not return results as expected.
- Application Page: If an optional question item response is modified after the auto-save runs on a questionnaire and the questionnaire is submitted before the auto-save runs a second time, then a submission error occurs.
- Application Triggers: Daily digest emails are sent multiple times in error.
- Notifications: The default status change email template is used instead of the custom text if the status is changed when an applicant submits their application.
- User Management: Questionnaires configured as non-outgoing do not appear as options under the Visibility section.
- Application Organization: Active program types are missing from the drop-down menu for the program type filter.
- Application Organization: Blank requirements appear on page.
- App Cycle Management: The Manage Programs interface is not displaying the correct status for "Accepting Apps".
- Dates: Editing and saving itinerary dates subtracts one day to the date in some situations.
- Application Triggers: Received payment materials are not prompting the Application Requirement Submitted Trigger to send a notification as expected.
- Application Deadline: If an application deadline is waived and the program is subsequently changed, then the waived application deadline is not appearing as expected in Application Admin Manager and on the application page.
- Application Admin Manager: When app tags are added or removed from an individual application, the action is not recorded in the application's activity logs.
Resolved Issues for 22.2
- Applicant Experience: Questionnaires with no required questions cannot be submitted if no responses are provided.
- Application Admin Manager: A staff member is able to edit materials when they only have the Application Admin: Materials (View) permission.
- Application Finder: The applicant parameter filter is not returning results as expected for the "Yes/No" type.
- Cost Sheet Templates: Time stamps are not being recorded in the correct time zone.
- Locations: Location name changes are needed for Macedonia to North Macedonia and Swaziland to Eswatini.
- Program Discovery: The program parameter of the "Yes/No" type with a value that was added and saved in the Program Wizard is not appearing in the Program Discovery results as expected when that program parameter value is used as a filter.
- Progress Audit: Copied questionnaire responses are not recognized as being submitted in the Application Finder's progress audit.
- Program Wizard: Unexpected characters are sometimes displayed in the program history log.
- Content Management: In the Questionnaire Builder, a selection type question item is erroneously changed to the field type if no subtype is selected.
- Course Approvals: The department import overwrites existing majors and only allows for a max of ten majors per import.
- Program Wizard: Unexpected error occurs when attempting to save changes in the Application Lifecycle tab.
- Application Admin Manager: Payment error details appear in the classic admin view of an application but not in the Admin Console's Application Admin Manager.
- Admin Console: Incorrect time stamps display in some features of the Admin Console, including the dynamic columns in Application Finder, cost sheet templates, and the "last modified" time stamp in Application Triggers.
- Application Finder: The program filter search returns program templates in the results when it should not.
- Application Finder: Incorrect results are returned when a filter is used for an applicant parameter of the field validation type.
- Site Builder: The link to access the Site Builder only appears in the Navigation Menu and not in the "Settings" card when the Website Admin: Homepage Content or Website Admin: Link Content permission is assigned.
- Site Builder: Links to CF pages in Program Discovery that include a search parameter are not working as expected when the Site Builder is enabled.
- Site Builder: Modifying a previously publicly accessible document in the Document Center results in the document no longer being accessible.
Resolved Issues for 22.1
- Admin Console: In Application Finder and Program Finder, the spinner appears at the bottom of the page when loading results instead of at the top of the page.
- Application Finder: Converting a shared query results in a saved filter with no name.
- Application Limits: An applicant is able to create multiple applications for different programs in the same app cycle when limits are set not to allow it.
- Application Triggers: When an Application in Review Trigger is edited to use the action of add application tag, the workflow is modified.
- Program Finder: The filter modal opens in error when a keyword search is applied.
- Program Finder: Keyword search results sometimes change back to the full program listing.
- Program Wizard: Certain navigation paths to the Program Wizard require a page reload in order to see data populated in the "Configurations" tab.
- Program Wizard: Program types of Travel Registration, Incident Report, and Advising should not allow the configuration of recommendations.
- Reminders: Rules-based app cycles erroneously include recommendation forms as incomplete questionnaires.
- Application Finder: Misspelling in the filter modal.
- The Login: A blank modal appears when attempting to create an advising program application from the Create Apply link if an application already exists.
- The Login: In certain situations, the itinerary creation option appears when only the link to the existing application should be displayed.
- Program Discovery: The ampersand character causes a URL search string not to function as expected.
- Program Wizard: When you deactivate the partner institution requirement, it continues to appear as if it is enabled.
- Data Import: When attempting to import a new foreign course via the classic Import/Update Data option, an error occurs.
- Application Admin Manager: The activity log displays the applicant name as the user who sent the email in error.
- Progress Audit: Withdrawn sub-statuses are not displayed in the batch status change menu.
- Application Finder: Page export displays itinerary dates one day prior than expected.
- Cost Sheets: The most current version of an applicant's cost sheet does not display to an admin via the "View as User" option.
- The Directory: When a provider enters dates via the Manage Programs listing, their programs are not flagged as updated resulting in clients not being notified.
- Staff Pages: Staff images are broken if the user is not logged in.
- Analytics: A query using the field of program country with fields for both a program parameter and an applicant parameter cause an unexpected duplication of rows.
- Analytics: Grouping by last name and setting the count to applicants results in the query breaking.
- Analytics: Including the application cost sheet complete field in a query results in an error on report preview.
- Analytics: Group by logic is resulting in an unexpected error.
- Analytics: Using calculations causes an error when attempting to run a query or report.
- Application Finder: "And" logic is used in error when multiple value options are selected for the same applicant parameter.
- Program Discovery: Filters do not limit results to exact matches.
- Prospect Inquiry: Emails sent to prospects appear as "From" the admin user's TD profile ID instead of their email address.
- Application Finder: Conditions are missing when filters are created from the Saved Queries Translation tool.
- Program Discovery: Search results disappear when a filter value contains more than two terms.
- Directory: Error received when attempting to update Directory programs.
- Documents: Reviewers and applicants are unable to access attached documents as expected.
- Reviewers Management: Questionnaire data access objects (DAOs) for a reviewer are being honored in error.
- Emails: Unexpected characters are being displayed in sent emails.
- Itinerary Dates (APAC sites only): Application itinerary start and end dates are created as the day before what was entered.
Resolved Issues for Terra Dotta Study Abroad Update March 2022
- Advising Program: A page reload is required to view the correct programs of interest when accessing advising program applications via the Navigation Menu.
- Advising Program: System message needed when the advising program associated with an outgoing program requiring advising is not accepting applications.
- Applicant Parameters: Removing an applicant parameter file from a profile of a user who has an application results in all applications breaking which belong to that user.
- Application Deadline: Changing a program twice (and not just once) causes the old application deadline to be retained.
- Application Admin Manager: Data lookup with search type applicant parameters do not display values in the profile tab as expected.
- Application Admin Manager: Activity log displays actions in server time instead of account time.
- Application Cycle Management: Unexpected navigation behavior when returning to the main app cycle listing from a past or future app cycle's "Manage Programs" listing.
- Application Finder: Question item filter not returning results as expected for single selection question items.
- Application Finder: Batch edit requirements keyword search results in unexpected behavior when listing contains more than 50 requirements.
- Application Finder: No warning modal appears when attempting to delete a saved filter.
- Application Organization: Offline requirements do not stick to "Priority" section as expected.
- Application Organization: Program group-specific requirement does not display as expected when assigned to two or more groups.
- Application Organization: Unable to move some requirements up or down.
- Progress Audit: Materials batch marked as "N/A" appear in the progress audit as received.
- Program Finder: Slow load times.
- Program Wizard: Accepting apps toggle in "Dates and Costs" tab not displaying the correct status.
- Program Wizard: Sites using only process maps experience unexpected behavior after creating programs in Program Wizard.
- The Login: The "Continue" button remains accessible even after itinerary information is provided.
- The Login: Incorrect message appears when an applicant applies to a program for which they already have an active application.
- The Login: The "Program Options" term listing does not display both years associated with a dual year term.
Resolved Issues for 22.0
- Analytics: Calculations functionality not working as expected.
- Analytics: Data points of "Program Cost Sheet Amount" and "Program Cost Sheet Cost Key" appear as options in error.
- Analytics: Programs with multiple locations in the same country result in reports with multiple rows for the same application.
- Analytics: Query not loading as expected when an essay question item type is added as a data field.
- Analytics: Report preview results in an error when the query contains the field "Programs of Interest" and any applicant parameter type.
- Analytics: Report generating an invalid column name error with the use of certain data fields.
- Analytics: The use of certain data points in a query causes the output to display duplicate rows of information.
- Application Admin Manager: Dates display as "invalid date" for advising application comments in Safari browsers only.
- Application Admin Manager: When an admin attempts to upload a second file to a multi-file upload question item in an unreceived questionnaire, an error occurs.
- Application Admin Manager: When an admin attempts to view a document in a multi-file upload question item, an error occurs.
- Application Admin Manager: An admin is unable to mark some requirements as received.
- Application Finder: Filters are not retained when returning to search results if an applicant parameter column is in use.
- Application Finder: No applications are returned when the "Internal" applicant type filter is used with the column of "Home Institution".
- Application Limitations: An applicant is unable to select another app cycle for a program if the maximum number of applications is received for that program in another app cycle.
- Application Page: In some scenarios, applicants are unable to successfully submit a questionnaire that contains a file upload question item.
- Dates Management: The "Accepting Applications" toggle is not displaying the expected status when changes are made for programs in the current year.
- Document Center: Accessing files from the Document Center requires that the user must be logged into the site.
- Document Center: Hyperlinks to items in the Document Center are resulting in errors.
- Location Search: Unable to successfully add a location when Google search is used in App Cycle Management, Application Admin Manager, and the Login.
- Notifications: Applicants are unable to access private files when emails are sent via the Application Admin Manager.
- Program Wizard: Images fail to load in the public brochure view when switching between tabs if the tabbed brochure style is being used.
- Program Wizard: Adding the "Apply Now" button widget to the brochure page results in an unexpected amount of blank rows being added to the brochure.
- Program Wizard: Certain actions, such as pasting text or adding new sections to a brochure, result in unwanted blank spaces.
- Program Wizard: The "Accepting Applications" toggle is not displaying the correct status.
- Questionnaires: In the classic admin interface, when an admin attempts to view a questionnaire that was submitted with a non-required, unanswered file upload question item, an error occurs.
- Recommendations: In some scenarios, including recommendations in the progress audit report results in no values being populated for the recommendation counts.
- Recommendations: When recommendations are configured as "Must be Requested" for a program, the recommendations appear as completed on the application page.
- Recommendations: When recommendations are configured as "Must be Requested" for a program and the applicant makes the request, then the date which displays in the Application Admin Manager is always the current date.
- Reviewers Management: Completed questionnaire responses do not appear as expected to reviewers in the Reviewer Console.
- Site Builder: Links to files uploaded to a page through the page's content WYSIWYG editor are resulting in errors.
